Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate – Nintendo Switch

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate is, as the name implies, the “ULTIMATE” rendition of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds. Built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, the game will support uber-hype cross-platform side-scrolling action with up to 8-player online multiplayer and all the characters (and more…?) from past PBBG and “Overdrive” versions.
PBBGU revitalizes the classic anime brawler with enhanced visuals, improved gameplay
mechanics, and an array of exciting new features, making this the definitive version of the game. Fans of the original and newcomers alike will be immersed in a captivating world of action and adventure like never before.
• Reimagined Gameplay: Gameplay has been rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, giving smoother gameplay and flashier special attacks.
• Online Co-op and Versus Modes: Team up with friends in local co-op or challenge up to 8 fighters from around the world cross-platform.
• Play as the Enemy: Take on the role of powerful adversaries from the Phantom Breaker:
Battle Grounds universe, each with their own distinct combat styles and abilities in Arcade Mode.
• Original Soundtrack Remastered: Players can choose an all new soundtrack composed by all girl J-rock band, The Phantom Breakers or the classic versions from PBBG or PBBG Overdrive.
